Lauren Marie NitkaThis artist was a painter that had many figured in her paintings, most being portraits. This work was chosen because of not only the color and composition, but the resemblance to art nouveau with circles, dots, hair, thick line, etc. I was draw to these portraits because although the gallery was small and pushed off into a corned, it flowed smoothly and included interesting and dynamic portraits and paintings that captured your eye. The layout of the gallery was very professional and smooth, which also made me interested in the work as a whole.

Eric Thomas KoesterThis gallery was also small and a shared space, but I was drawn to these works because they were set apart in color and layout. The themes were very clear relating to the american dreams/ideals as well as creating commentary on this idea of "american purity." I chose this piece as my favorite because of the interesting juxtaposition between the smiling figures and bright, almost ugly colors and generic rainbow and the fighter pilots. which we associate with war, something that would tarnish America's image. A thought-provoking gallery.

While the rest of the works were interesting in medium, as well as thought provoking, this work stood out in this gallery. It filled the space being a fairly large canvas, and stood eye-level with the average person. It called for women to take selfies in front of it, so that the bunny ears fit on their head in the picture. This made this piece especially interesting in me, with audience participation being one of the most interesting.
